The feed water is pumped into the system by booster pump. The feed flow rate is continuously registered on the system's feed flow meter. Acid and antiscalant agents are injected to protect the membranes. The feed water enters post filtration system that traps particles above 5 micron. A low pressure switch shuts down the system in case of low flow conditions and prevents cavitation in the High Pressure Pump. The high pressure pump, which features an automatic over-pressure safety shutdown switch, then increases the filtered feed water to high press level and forces it into the Membrane Vessel Assembly. The back pressure regulator controls and automatically maintains the necessary high pressure level in the membranes. Concentrated brine flow is measured before it is drained out .The product water flows out the RO membrane and passes into a Product Flow Meter, where the amount of water produced is registered. Post chlorination and pH adjustment dosing are carried out if needed.
